About Our Therapists

Modern Thrive Counseling is a team of licensed therapists in Madison, Wisconsin. We help individuals, couples, and children work through anxiety, OCD, religious trauma, relationships, and the hard parts of everyday life, with a warm and modern approach.

Our Story

Amy Harvat started Modern Thrive with a simple belief: that mental health care should feel warm, human, and easy to reach. What began as her solo practice has grown into a team of twelve therapists, and that belief still guides everything we do. We are here to help you feel less alone, kinder to yourself, and free to imagine more for your life.

Start with self-compassion. We built Modern Thrive around a simple belief: healing starts with remembering who you are, and growth starts with imagining more.

Modern Thrive is a team of twelve clinicians. The team includes LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs, across a range of specialties, so you can find someone who fits your goals, your concerns, and the way you like to work.

You do not have to choose alone. Our founder, Amy, personally matches you with the therapist who fits your goals, concerns, and preferences, so you know exactly who to turn to for support.
