Pregnancy Complications and Infertility Therapy
Grief-focused therapy for pregnancy, birth, fertility, and loss
What Is Postpartum, Pregnancy, & Infertility Therapy?
We provide therapy for new moms, new dads, those hoping to become parents, and those who are grieving the life they thought they would have. We offer compassionate, grief-focused work to help you feel seen throughout your pregnancy, your fertility journey, or a loss.
Our goal is to help you process your grief and lean into your new normal with curiosity and openness.
What big feelings can feel like
You are struggling to connect with your partner or new baby during pregnancy or after birth
You do not feel like yourself
You are struggling with the emotional weight of pregnancy, birth, infertility, or pregnancy loss
You feel like there is something wrong with you for feeling these things
You had a traumatic birth experience, a failed fertility treatment, or a pregnancy loss
How We Help
We use grief-focused, evidence-based approaches, matched to what you are carrying:
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): Gentle reprocessing of a traumatic birth, a failed treatment, or a loss, so the memory feels less raw.
Brainspotting: Body-based work to reach and release the grief and trauma held in the body.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Room to hold painful feelings without being ruled by them, and to reconnect with what matters most.
Somatic exercises: Gentle, body-based practices to calm your nervous system when the weight feels physical.
Existential therapy: Space to make meaning and grieve the life you thought you would have.
What Can Change
The emotional weight feels lighter to carry
Grief doesn't feel like a burden
Connection grows between you and your partner
