Tricia Mooney-Fogarty, LCSW
Hello and welcome! I am a licensed clinical therapist working in the mental health field since 2018, and my pronouns are she/her. In our sessions, I weave together person-centered and solution-focused methods with evidence-based tools like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you navigate whatever you’re experiencing. I will work alongside you as a nonjudgmental, collaborative partner who uses genuine curiosity to help us build a strong therapeutic relationship. I enjoy meeting with adults and adolescents who are ready to prioritize their mental health and address life’s challenges.
My background includes extensive work with justice-involved people, which deeply informs my understanding of systemic barriers and fuels my passion for honoring diverse cultures, backgrounds, and identities, including within the LGBTQIA+ community.
Before finding my calling as a therapist, I worked as a pastry chef. Driven by a desire to
understand human connection, I went to UW-Madison to earn both my bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and my master’s degree in clinical social work.
When I am not in the office, you can usually find me spending quality time with my family, traveling to new places, or exploring the local food scene—whether that means trying out a brand-new restaurant or heading back to one of my old favorites.
Tricia specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, navigating interpersonal relationships, suicidal thoughts, self-harm.
