Modern Thrive Counseling is currently hiring an After-School Activity Leader for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, is dependable and communicative, interested in developing a curriculum, is curious about the mental health field, and is passionate about helping others.

Position Details

Flexible schedule

3 days per week (we'll work together to find a schedule that works for you)

After school until 6:30 PM

Eligible for school-to-work and other student employment programs

Responsibilities

Provide after-school care for therapists' children while therapists conduct counseling sessions

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities

Assist with cleaning offices

Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive environment

Qualifications

Experience working with children; babysitting certification preferred

Reliable, responsible, and punctual

Strong communication skills

Positive attitude and genuine interest in helping others

Ability to work independently and follow directions
